How to Register?

Unless you already had a Reiki session at Open Heart Energy with Ronen, it is suggested that you first schedule a Reiki session with Ronen so that you can experience first-hand the manner in which Ronen facilitate Reiki. While not a requirement to attend the training, it recommended.

To register for an up and coming training, please use our general contact form. Please specify what you are interested in, and Ronen will get back to you.

To secure space in an up and coming training, a deposit of $100 is required. Cancellation policy is specified at the lower part of this page.

Please note:

• Reiki I is a prerequisite for taking Reiki II.
  Similarly, Reiki II is a prerequisite for taking Reiki III (Master or Master/Teacher.)

• Participants who took Reiki I or II elsewhere can still attend training at Open Heart Energy, so long as they received attunements in a correct manner. Please inquire with Ronen first.

• We do not provide attunements to people who took a Reiki course online and are just seeking attunements. We deeply honor the Ususi Reiki tradition and wish to have facilitators trained by us receive in-person, high-quality training.

• It is highly recommended to have several months during which a practitioner has a chance to offer Reiki between Reiki I and Reiki II, and Reiki II and Reiki III.

Cancellation Policy
Full refund of the deposit will be issued if Open Heart Energy is notified in writing up to 30 days ahead of the training dates. No refund if under 30 days as the space that was reserved cannot be filled on less than a 30 days notice.

Reiki Training

Open Heart Energy offers training in Reiki I, II, and III (Master and Master/Teacher) levels, as well as several other healing modalities.
The training is offered several times a year.

What does Reiki training includes?
Introduction to Reiki, origins and history; the Reiki precepts; how to prepare for a session; learning and practicing the Reiki hand positions, which can be used on self and others; the chakra and endocrine systems as these pertain to Reiki; cleaning, grounding, centering, and protection; sacred Reiki attunements; a detailed manual that the participants take home; certificate of completion; Reiki symbols (Levels II and III,) and other elements specific to each level of Reiki.

MORE ABOUT Traditional Usui Reiki

The Reiki training is provided by Ronen, a certified attuned Reiki Master/Teacher with direct lineage to Master Usuai, the Reiki founder. Being attuned to Reiki means tapping into an energy flow that is all around us. Some call this energy Life Force, others call it Universal Energy. Either way, it is subtle energy that is in all matters, and can be funneled and directed at specific areas. Reiki is most commonly used for relaxation, healing, and also for affirmation of intentions.

Reiki, as a form of alternative healing, came into being in Japan in 1922. It was discovered and developed by a Buddhist named Mikao Usui. The technique itself is non-denominational; there is absolutely no religious orientation involved. While originating at the Land of the Rising Sun, Reiki spread all over the world, and was adapted into a multitude of cultural traditions. To date, it is practiced by millions of people.

Reiki practitioners facilitate this healing modality by hovering, or placing their hands directly on the recipient, at specific positions along the body; front and back. The client remains fully dressed and can even be covered with a blanket as they rest on the treatment table. The energy transferred by the facilitator is very nourishing, relaxing and healing. By its nature, Reiki cannot harm; only do good. Ronen is a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and a seasoned facilitator who administered Reiki in well over a thousand sessions. Ronen had been training Reiki practitioners in all levels, and appreciated the opportunity to continue passing on this gentle yet powerful healing tradition.

Reiki can be applied for helping people, pets and even plants.

Remote Reiki aka Distant Reiki healing sessions are instructed at Level 2. Since Reiki is the channeling of Universal Energy, Remote Reiki works much in the same manner as an in-person, hands-on Reiki. Only difference is that the recipient is not in the same location as the facilitator. This modality is handy when the recipient cannot make it to the practitioner’s location either due to physical constraints, illness, or any other considerations.

Rates

• Reiki I — $300 (Full weekend, 4 attunements)

• Reiki II — $400 (Full weekend, 2 attunements)

• Reiki Master — $400 (Full weekend, 1 attunement)

• Reiki Master/Teacher — $900 (Full weekend, 1 attunement, followed by a full year of follow up assignments)

  Please note:

  • Rate are current for 2024 and may change over time.

  • The training is a full day on Sat, and until the afternoon on Sun. For Reiki I, four sacred attunements are provided over the course of two days. It takes time to integrate and therefore it is important to have enough space between attunements. Some teachers squeeze it all into one day. That is not recommended nor is it the traditional way.
