Meditation may mean various things to different people. It is a practice of many paths; as an ancient Chinese proverb goes, “There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same.”
In our weekly get-together, we will explore various meditative and mindfulness methods and techniques.
The aim is to learn how to set up an intention without, well, having any goals...
We will explore how to be fully present in the moment, and, as a bi-product, breath deeper, and live a fuller life with less stress.
Whether you have experience with meditation or you are a complete novice, join us. This group aspires to be a rising tide for all boats.
The meetups will be guided by Ronen Divon.
Ronen is the founder of Open Heart Energy in downtown Cary. It is a practice that offers mindful, integrative healing, guidance and growth.
Walking spiritual and holistic paths for well over thirty years, Ronen was born in Israel, educated in New York, and currently resides in Cary. Ronen had traveled the world, spending time with teachers, masters, healers and guides. With wisdom that spans multiple traditions, including the Far East, India, Israel, Brazil, Peru, and Native America, Ronen remains a student, learning and adding modalities that will best serve his clients, each according to their own unique needs. Ronen is also a published author, a Yoga, Meditation, and Tai Chi instructor, as well as a Reiki facilitator, and Shamanic practitioner. His instructions are non-denominational.
The sessions are taking place at 209 South Academy Street, downtown Cary. It is a building that houses Korbin Realty as well as Open Heart Energy, and Cary Art Therapy.
We will be meeting at a space on the first floor, set up for these sessions. You may bring a seating pillow or a meditation floor chair if you wish to use your own but these are not required – we have pillows and bolsters.
Please avoid coming with strong perfume and other scents as this may be distracting for other participants.
RSVP is requested so we can plan in advance. We would like to know who is coming in case there are last minute changes.
Space is limited to ten people so those who reserve first receive a priority.
Please arrive between 6:45-6:55pm as we start on time. Arriving even a few minutes late will disturb others.
Sessions will be one hour long. We will finish by 8pm.
Cost is $10 pp per meetup. You can pay in cash when you arrive, or pay in advance online via Paypal (or by credit card via Paypal).
You may pay per session, or pay in advance for several sessions, especially if you rather not handle payment each time you arrive.
Contact Ronen for more information about payment methods other than cash.
Please note: each series and each session are a standalone i.e. it is not required to be present in all sessions, although there is a benefit as we learn and practice something new in each meetup.
